Scott Bowerman, M.D.
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Scott Bowerman completed his undergraduate training at Emory University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Chemistry and Psychology with a Minor in Spanish. He then received his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in 1991 where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the AOA Medical Honor Society. Following medical school Dr. Bowerman completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Vanderbilt University in 1996 where he served as Chief Resident. He began his practice in Rome in 1996.
Dr Bowerman’s practice focuses mainly on joint replacement of the hip and knee as well as general orthopedics. His training includes the latest in mobile bearing technology and advancements in total joint replacement. Dr. Bowerman is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is also a member of the Medical Association of Georgia, Georgia Orthopedic Society, and Southern Orthopedic Society. He currently resides in Rome and has two children, Brielle and Brenden. |

Tiffany Bowerman, PA-C
Originally from Douglasville, Georgia, Tiffany attended Georgia State University where she studied Biology with an emphasis in pre-physician assistant studies. She completed her physician assistant training at South University in Savannah, Georgia where she graduated Cum Laude. Tiffany joined Rome Orthopedic Clinic in the spring of 2003. She currently practices with Dr. Scott Bowerman whose practice focuses on joint replacement as well as general orthopedics. She resides in Rome.
